Ok, one more on the software side of things - search Outlook for all those emails, contacts, and calendar items you thought you had lost!
You can use Lookout to search your:
- Email messages
- Contacts, calendar, notes, tasks, etc.
- Data from exchange, POP, IMAP, PST files, Public Folders
- Files on your computer or other computers
- ... your wife's purse (okay, not true)
This software was recently acquired by Microsoft and is tightly integrated with Outlook. Definitely worth checking out if you live and breath Outlook.

So, which do you prefer? Lookout or Google's desktop search? I have not used lookout but after only one day using Google's search I am hooked.
well, lookout is nice for Outlook, but, you're right - you can't beat google's desktop search!

I know that many tool for recover information aren't good,and therefore in my view the best choice will be-convert from ost to pst software,because it helped me many times and also application is free as how as I remember,software convert from ost to pst software will convert *.ost to *.pst extension, that can be easily opened by any email client, compatible with Microsoft Outlook,can see a preview window of ost pst conversion 2003, that shows emails, which were recovered successfully by ost to pst tools,convert to pst can process damaged *.ost files, but, when it is heavily damaged, you can see some minor blind spots in a preview window,export your mailbox to a file with *.pst extension.
